Hello and welcome to Wren Bird Wares Co! My name is Martha Wren Roberto, and I am the owner and creator behind WBW. My work is a glimpse inside my imagination. Anything I can dream up, I like to stick on a mug, or paint on a plate. I am inspired by vintage cartoons, mythological creatures, and anything small enough to fit in a pocket.

Everything is handmade in my home studio in Western North Carolina. I use commercial glazes and underglazes, and fire my work in an electric kiln. My glaze work is nontoxic unless otherwise specified. 

I take pride in what I do, and I am passionate about my business and customer base. If you ever have any questions about my process, how I do what I do, my materials etc. please don’t hesitate to ask! I love the art community and am always open to sharing my knowledge and gaining new perspective.
